Access to the right beauty products is a challenge for our Auditory and speech challenged customers. There are around 500 Million deaf mute persons which is Over 5% of the world's population. The key challenge is all shop assistants or Beauticians do not know the sign languages which makes hard for target customers to attain the knowledge, benefits of products and get convinced on products. There is a need of a translator to bridge this communication gap, however deploying translator person in every beauty shop is expensive investment for the shopping center, hence there is a need of cost effective solution

Wipro introduces the companion, the ultimate companion to boost your confidence. This AI based helpdesk is a new way to help deaf mute people communicate easily with normal people. Here is how it works, when a deaf mute person comes in front of the companion The kiosk greets the customer, Then Customer shows their interest using sign language, then Kisok calls shopping assistant who speaks over voice command, The voice command gets converted to sign language for customer and customer replies with sign language which gets converted to voice, This makes the in person shopping smooth for a deaf mute person

The companion has an AI trained Virtual assistant app, the artificial AI trained beautician can communicate in various sign languages. The BOT can also recommend products based on the customer skin tone, location, and current trend in the region and asking customer to select few preferred styles. It also helps in order placement through mobile phone using biometrics, The AI guided Makeup assistance provides a step by step guidance for a top notch experience

This Wipro engineering solution, Helps in person shopping, Virtual shopping, assists while using the products, helps in ordering, and the key advantage is that it has a physical device to interface between a deaf-mute and normal person at shopping center.
