The Compact Calendar

Inspiration

The term "organization" immediately brought the calendar to mind so we made the best one possible.

What it does

It does what any calculator can do but easier and quicker.

How we built it

We built it using only 200 lines of python for 9 different functions and options.

Challenges we ran into

There were multiple challenges figuring out how to do some parts of the program such as calculating leap years as well as weekdays.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to successfully accurately tell leap years and accurately place every date on the correct week day.

What we learned

We learned of multiple different calculation you can used to calculate where dates will land as well as better, more efficient ways to utilized a single list for multiple functions.

What's next for The Compact Calendar

We can always add even more functions and make the calendar much more aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate.
