Our mission is to create the “citizen’s megaphone,” which obtains information about living conditions and availability of resources from the common person in the country and makes the data easily accessible to all users. We want to build trust of the community through direct interaction and timely repairs. The platform includes live updates: real-time information on water, health care, poverty, education, and services via USSD to provide a nuanced and cohesive view of a problem far more complex than just the repair status of individual water points. Also, predictive software enables preventative maintenance, e.g. in advance of a major weather events, increasing access and saving money in the long run. Finally, we use natural language processing to allow intuitive user input and interaction.
