Inspiration

As a dad living in one of the most expensive places in the US I needed a solution that helped map out how I visualize my spending! I once used the cash envelope method but have since gone from cash to digital transactions due to moving states a few times and loosing the option of cash only. I was looking for a tool that helps tracking but haven't found one that feels right.

What it does

Allows users to manually track their spending and visualizes it into 'envelopes' to get a hold of finances.

How we built it

PURELY 100% BOLT PROMPTING!

Challenges we ran into

Google Auth was a pain. Setup and general connections were ok but getting google auth to work on bolt and not in production was a task so time consuming that I dropped it all together.

What we learned

Careful thinking on prompts is the key to getting the ai system to really work well

What's next for The Cache

Bank connections with something like Plaid, Mobile app, and voice functions
