How it works

You start watching a movie online and allow users save the moments they liked the best with one simple hand swipe. It allows to build a fingerprint of all the moments/scenes the user liked in the movie. Which, in turn, allows to analyze the data and what parts of the movie (dialogue/action/suspence/etc.) are relevant to the user.

Challenges I ran into

The public library for the gesture recognizing device we used (Leap Motion) was laggy and we had to rewrite some routines to actually use the device.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Aleksandr - visiting a first hackathon in my life.

Gary - working with the leap motion

What I learned

Aleksandr - nothing yet.

Gary - that gestures are really cool and easy way to interact with a computer.

What's next for The Blueprint

Implementing an API for the content providers.
