The Better Language Exchange

Sorry about going over time, maybe watch on 2x speed🧠

Inspiration

Wanted to improve my speaking and listening in French, but didn't want to pay for a tutor or join bad language exchange sites.

What it does

Connects you with fewer scammers and weirdos than your normal language exchange site, keeps the conversation alive, accessible to unpopular languages, and rewards you for learning and teaching.

How we built it

Figma babyyy

Challenges we ran into

I just got so tired

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I guess it's presentable

What we learned

Solo is hard but fun

What's next for The Better Language Exchange

If I had another day and no homework, I'd add a tips and tricks section on how to have a good language exchange, such as only correct errors that lead to miscommunication to avoid disruptions and always schedule another meeting.
