The Benatar

Inspiration

What it does

A, D, W, S, and the space bar are used to drive the spacecraft and fire guns at the aliens in the action-adventure game "Benatar," which stars a boy and the Benatar spacecraft.

How we built it

Using Python and the pygame package, we created it.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered difficulties with bullet placement and alien and spacecraft mobility.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We take pride in having developed what we had in mind successfully.

What we learned

During creating this game, we learned a great deal about Python and its extensive libraries.

What's next for The Benatar

The next phase will be to add certain functionality, fix some known and unknown flaws, and improve the system's stability and usability.
