Inspiration
We become what we behold, the social commentary game inspired our events that change the world outside your desk.
What it does
It encourages saving money, partaking in community projects, and appropriately displays how the bank operates and the values they hold.
How we built it
We used Unreal Engine 4 to make the game and used various softwares such as Blender, Maya, Clipstudio, and Photopea
Challenges we ran into
Multiple crashes, a lot of troubleshooting blueprints, 3D models not showing UVs.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We resolved some issues with blueprints and included some unique mechanics. :)
What we learned
We learned some new skills in unreal engine, and learned how to coordinate and manage our team, and further developed our skills within the pipeline for game creation. Do NOT trust Josh's laptop.
What's next for The Banking Experience
More research into the core beliefs of Wave Community Bank and implement more of them into our game. Refining and polishing gameplay elements, more blueprint fixes, adding more content for the player to experience. :)
