What it does

The texture, ripeness, and taste of bananas sparked my creativity. The quirky and fun nature of the fruit led me to build a playful project that reflects its lighthearted vibe, with a banana-themed button and surprise sound effects.

How we built it

I built a simple React app with the banana theme in mind. The goal was to create a playful, interactive experience that’s easy to use and visually engaging. I focused on using a bright yellow background, a banana button, and a fart noise triggered when the button is clicked. I used vanilla JavaScript to handle the audio and React for component management.

Challenges we ran into

One of the unexpected challenges I faced was the increasing prices of bananas in my area. This made me think about how bananas are an important yet underappreciated fruit, and it motivated me to create this lighthearted project as a way to honor the fruit in a fun way.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Cured Banana’s Acidity: We tackled the acidity problem of bananas by transforming it into a quirky, fun feature for the project. 🍌💨

What we learned

I learned about the chemical changes in bananas as they ripen, particularly how they develop acidity, which alters their flavor and texture. It was interesting to see how a simple fruit could have such a complex transformation.
