The Astronaut's Cycle

Inspiration

We were inspired by the jounrey of the astronaut starting from Earth and going to Mars.

What it does

This project is a simulator for what astronaut's will encounter when they go to space and how to overcome these challenges.

How we built it

We build it using React.js, Flask, python, html, css, and API's.

Challenges we ran into

This was the first time doing React, so it was quite difficult learning the new framework.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the implementation of API's and the animations present in the simulation.

What we learned

We learned React and how to use API's.

What's next for The Astronaut's Cycle

We plan on adding a part 2 which is a return trip from Mars back to Earth. As well as this, we plan to add more advanced challenges that accurately reflect the astronaut's experiences.
