What does it do?

The art of cooking is a website to get recipes and ideas for appetizers that will amaze, main dishes that will astonish, and desserts that will make professionals quit.

How we built it

The website has been built with simple HTML and CSS. We used GitHub and GitHub pages to host it on the internet. We also used GitHub issues and projects to get organized. Furthermore, we installed Google Analytics to measure our traffic.

Challenges we ran into

Unfortunately, due to the timezone in Greece, we had very little time to complete the project and we were pressured to finish it. Also, we had to learn a lot of new things and combat bugs.

What we learned

We expanded our knowledge in HTML and CSS, and we also got familiar with Google Analytics and GitHub pages. Furthermore, we learned how to collaborate with Git and GitHub (and we got a cool achievement for that!).

What's next for The Art of Cooking

We plan on redesigning our interface. Also, we will add a lot more recipes and we will add new features, such as a shopping list and searching for recipes that match the ingredients you have available.
