Air Particle Husk

Inspiration

What inspired us to create out innovation was from a thought back in 2017 when the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency gave a statement about how we can increase the air quality of the earth.

Product Functionalities

The Air Particle Husk is a drone system that circulates around contaminated areas to cleanse. These contaminated areas can include effects such as foul smells, diseases, pathogens, toxic & hazardous materials, and wastes.

Product Design & Specifications

This concept in its current form with the research analyzed will be produced in the form of different sizes: small, medium, large, and extra-large. The configuration of the invention is made by using a series of C-shaped and rectangle shaped thin sheet metals for the face and the rear of the invention. Those sheet metals will be attached by screws and nuts to another set of C-shaped and rectangle shaped thin sheet metals combining them with two sections for each piece label ‘A Side’ and ‘B Side’. The combination of the two pieces is called the ‘Face Tube’ with house a front steering drone. Connected to the face tube will be a wiring system to connect to the ‘First Rib’. The first rib contains a hovering device used to detect and simulate human control and interaction services in the usages of rotation, movement, and detect control. The Gas Composition Sensing System will also be housed in that location depending on which size model you are using. Lastly, the first rib is connected to the B side of the face tube. The invention is completed when attached to the exterior of the system with leather string for elastic strength and movement and LED strip styled lighting system for visual awareness.

The challenges we ran into was measurement issues with certain parts of our project and just overall time to meet up.

We're proud that we can make our mission to create a way we can cleanse the world by amount in a safe, portable, and compact way so that humans today, tomorrow, and future generations can live on a bit greener a reality. With the added benefit of making the world brighter and more colorful to signify positivity.

What's next for The Air Particle Husk

The step for our team with the funds given by the MITTIC Space Tank Competition will be for spending on our prototype enhancements to further improve our design each time to offers greater ways to experience life breathing easier as a kid to elderly. We will also use the funds to purchase any hardware and software necessary to assist us in our endeavors to enhance our product. Most importantly, we will use the funds to start up a more established business start-up company that will help with the inclusion of upgraded facilities, technologies, business partnerships, patents, trademarks and internships to help gain more knowledge for our products and services, with the addition of learning more about our ecosystem and beyond with NASA.
