My inspiration or dream about The Acostas is how AI basically let me follow my imagination without limits — like, finally turning the wild scenes in my head into something real.
What it does
The project creates a fully AI-powered movie experience, building characters, scenes, and vibes that stay consistent across the whole story. It mixes generative video, dialogue, and world-building tools to make a film that literally couldn’t exist without AI.
How we built it
We combined multiple AI systems for script generation, character consistency, scene creation, and editing workflows. Everything gets stitched together into a smooth pipeline so the story feels cinematic instead of “AI-ish.”
Challenges we ran into
Keeping characters consistent across scenes was super messy at first. Also, balancing quality with speed was a whole rollercoaster. And of course… making AI behave when you need a very specific shot? Yeah, not always fun.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We actually got stable characters, a working scene pipeline, and a story that feels emotional instead of robotic. That alone felt like a huge W.
What we learned
We learned that AI filmmaking isn’t just about tools — it’s about guiding them, nudging them, and sometimes negotiating with them like they’re dramatic actors.
What's next for The Acostas – The AI Movie
More scenes, more realism, better continuity, and eventually a full-length AI movie that actually hits like a real cinematic experience
