Inspiration came from this contest, actually. It was an opportunity to try to use AI tools and editing skills to tell a cohesive and engaging story about one of the biggest cybercrime heists ever

This was a spec documentary about the North Korea state-sponsored hack that almost got away with 1 billion dollars

How we built it

First, I did quite a bit of research and created a draft idea, refined it with AI tools, and got an updated script. Then I went with good old paper and pen to roughly plan and storyboard the scenes. When I ran into a Brain Block, I would

Challenges we ran into

Learning how to adapt the prompts to create the exact visuals I had in my head was a challenge. Sometimes it didn't land perfectly and would lead to frustration as I had to generate it multiple times. However, at other times, I would be pleasantly surprised, especially with ElevenLabs and Google's AI Studio. Most times, they would knock it out of the park at the very first try
