Challenges we ran into

Trying to find a solidified solution to the problem, condensing all information to be presentable into a 3 minute window of time, creation of a functioning website, designing of a custom logo

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Creation of a rough credit score calculation, working together as a time, making a custom logo from scratch that looks super cool, being supportive of each other, good coordination between roles

What I learned

The struggles of starting a real life project, HTML is very hard to link to C++ as it turns out, HTML is very hard to use in general without prior experience, how to design a project, how important it is to have a team of diversified skills

What's next for the future

Potentially another hackathon, but less stressful next time

I mainly worked in the design proportion. I designed our logo on eDesign, to interpret how it is possible to take high polluting industries to decrease their environmental impact, and transition into a more sustainable option. I also contributed in designing our website, and creating the backbone of our ideas.

Jenica Batangan
I mainly helped with the business aspect side. I created a script for the presentation while my teammates worked on website design and coding. To be specific, I looked into possible competitors for the program we implemented, possible risks, how our program solves the prompt for sustainability.

Joseph Nicolas
I worked on the programming and logic portion of the project, as well as relating our idea for a solution to a real world concept, which is the Social Credit System regulated by the Chinese government. The C++ File features a mock-up set of calculations for the credit score of example citizens that choose to participate and companies that are being regulated. This hackathon was also my first experience with using an HTML interface, which I used to create a small table of credit scores utilizing my C++ code.
