What it does

Courses.- Several hackathon platforms have basic courses that helps the users get more familiarized with the hackathon environment. This way participants can become more familiar with the ecosystem and develop not only better projects, but their own skills. There is an extra idea here, which is that sometimes the hackathon creators can set a rule where the participants have to complete a certain basic course. This would be useful because it would be the first filter that participants have to pass in order to participate in a hackathon in order to ensure that there are no entries that have nothing to do with the hackathon.
