Inspiration

Millions of girls worldwide are denied access to education, and their stories often go unheard. We wanted to use storytelling and technology to amplify one girl’s journey from oppression to empowerment, reminding the world that education is a right, not a privilege.

What it does

That One Dream is a 10-minute AI-powered animated short film. It follows the life of a young Afghan girl who, despite being banned from school, fights for knowledge, escapes hardship, and returns stronger to empower other women. The film blends narrative, visuals, and sound to create an emotional and inspiring experience.

How we built it

Scriptwriting and narration written by me.

Scene-by-scene storyboarding developed with AI-assisted planning.

Images generated using AI image tools (e.g., Google nano banana and grok).

Animation sequences stitched together with video editing software capcut.

Background music and soundscapes curated from capcut.

Final assembly and polishing done in editing software to ensure cinematic quality.
