A Problem we see with the world

We know that riding a bike, running or walking to work promotes better health, less traffic congestion and a reduced carbon footprint. But there is a barrier stopping a portion of the population the choice to commute to work by bicycle or foot. We are here today to lower that barrier and give more people the freedom to choose to travel to work in a more socially conscious and healthy way.

How we want to make the world better

We have created a solution of a premium locker and bike rack that can be retrofitted into a empty car space. This unit is designed to keep a persons entire work wardrobe at work so they can change from casual or workout clothes at work to work attire. It contains all the aspects needed to be fresh and clean when changing such as replenish-able toiletries and fresh towels. The locker is secure only being opened by a users smart phone. The locker has laundry services, cleaning services and delivery of toiletries so the user will never need to bring anything from home.

What started as a idea for a problem one of our members had blossomed into a solution that we validated over the course of the hackathon and created a business model to support this idea. We then used cad tools and workflow tools to create the designs and workflows of the product we will put to the market.

What Challenged us

We started off with a solution to a problem without validating that it was the right solution. Taking the time to validate this enabled us to create a stronger solution, however time was always the enemy in the Hackathon and was our greatest challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud to bring a idea to life in a way that solves a real problem but also helps the environment and enabled us to create a value proposition that is great for the planet as well.

Surprises that delighted us

This solution solves a real need in my life but speaking to others this past day I have found that this is a more common problem than I thought. There are lots of ways people work around this issue but no real great solution for this problem. Some of the solutions I have heard is using the gym facilities at an extra membership cost, minimising the ride to work to reduce sweatiness, driving to work to drop off clothes then riding in later. Our solution gives these people freedom to Ride in, run in, walk in, go to the gym before work or go out after work, without having to worry about being clean and professional at work.

What's next for That Exec Feeling

So we have a great idea but how do we get it to market and grow our presence so more people can have the freedom to ride to work. We plan to sell the lockers at cost to the company spaces to get them in the market then we will drive revenue through a weekly cleaning fee and commissions on laundry services and restocking of toiletries. This will grow the viability of the company so that we can continue expanding. We plan to start in Sydney and grow nationally. But we need funding for our first prototype
