Tharros

Tharros is an online Support Group Platform for people affected and traumatised by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Tharros uses Machine Learning to incorporate Support Group Methods in an online setting.

Inspiration

Tharros is a wellness and mental health supplement for anyone who is overwhelmed by the lockdowns and traumas of the Covid-19 pandemic.

What it does

It acts as a Support Group environment for current patients that may find comfort in connecting with people who have experienced and survived Covid-19. Tharros is also open to Health Workers, who may want to open their own support groups, and encourage other frontline workers from all over the world.

How I built it

I built it using the MERN stack, with some Redux to manage state and scaling. The app is to implement Tensorflow.js to enable Machine Learning capabilities.

Challenges I ran into

I could not implement all the planned features over one weekend.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The app has capabilities for Registering users, login and other API Backend features that make it a production level application in such a short period of time.
