Inspiration
Thalassemias are a group of inherited blood disorders that manifest as the production of reduced hemoglobin. Thalassemia is a lifelong condition that requires frequent blood transfusions and consistent medical monitoring. Despite digital platforms like e-RaktKosh , patients often struggle to find reliable donors in emergencies. we are inspired to build an web application that will provide the availability of the blood in the nearby hospitals or blood centers consistently by the patients location in right time using the AI model. This application not only offers medical support by also supports the mental well-being of the patients by creating a community among the patients where they can interact with each other. Our main goal was to provide the availability of blood to the patients consistently, provide Security to the users, Build a community among the patients.
What it does
Our application will consist of three login roles patients, Donors, Hospitals. PATIENTS Patients will have their application automatic update of blood availability of the blood in the nearby hospitals or blood centers consistently .Users can directly view blood stock availability (A+, B−, etc.) at nearby centers by fetching data from government sources like e-RaktKosh using AI — no login or manual search. Patients can set schedules and receive automated reminders for upcoming transfusions and the regular medications. A privacy-focused community where patients can share their experiences without revealing personal profiles. DONORS The donor can register to THALCURE and will receive a donor Id. Their details will be private and only the location they are available to donate and the names. This provides security to the Donors. Once the Donor accepts the request from the patient the donor details will be sent to the hospital mentioned in the patients request. the donor's profile is visible to the public only when the donor is available.

Frontend: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript Backend: Flask Database: PostgreSQL APIs: Integration with e-RaktKosh & Blood Bridge (public blood donation platforms) AI Model: Supervised Learning using Python (scikit-learn) with synthetic/mock data
Challenges we could run into
Integrating with government APIs like e-RaktKosh, which may have limited or undocumented endpoints providing high level security to the patients, donors .
