This project was inspired by the lively atmosphere of Thai temple fairs and the desire to make this cultural experience accessible through VR. We aimed to bring the charm, rituals, and festive energy of a traditional temple fair into a virtual space where anyone can experience it.

It recreates key activities such as lighting incense, offering flowers, exploring vendor stalls, and playing classic fair games. These interactions allow users to learn about Thai traditions in an immersive and hands-on way. To achieve this, we built a detailed VR environment with interactive mechanics and cultural information stations placed throughout the scene.

The main challenges involved achieving authenticity, optimizing performance for smooth VR gameplay, and balancing educational elements with enjoyable, engaging interactions. Despite these challenges, we are proud to have brought temple-fair culture to life in VR and discovered how meaningful interaction can help preserve traditional practices.

Looking ahead, we plan to enhance environmental realism, add more culturally inspired activities, and expand the overall experience to make it even richer and more immersive for users.
