Hand tracking working (surprisingly)
Everyone tries to login to something then realises that their phone is on the other side of the room. Now you don't use a unique hand signature in space as the 2nd factor in a two factor authentication scheme.
What it does
Allows you to record a unique signature (by waving your hand in the air) that acts as the second factor.
How I built it
Flask app and then tensorflow. Gesture recognition using three neural networks. One to locate objects in space, one to detect which of them are hands and one to classify the motion of the hand.
Challenges I ran into
Getting tensorflow to behave.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
It kind of works.
What I learned
Practically every domain is a more expensive "featured domain".
