Idea is to create a Decentralized Wealth Management & Community Investment Platform. This helps you empower your wealth, providing dynamic NFTs, Social Trading, and Financial Inclusion for everyone.
Inspiration: We were inspired by the lack of financial inclusion in traditional systems. Many people, especially in underserved communities, don’t have access to investment opportunities. With Tezchain, we wanted to create a platform that empowers anyone to invest, learn, and manage wealth using decentralized finance.
What it does: Tezchain is a decentralized platform that allows users to manage their investment portfolios as dynamic NFTs, participate in fractional ownership of real-world assets, and engage in social trading. It’s designed to provide financial education and offer investment opportunities to people who typically face barriers in traditional financial systems.
How we built it: We built Tezchain using SmartPy for the smart contracts, which manage the dynamic NFTs and fractional ownership. The frontend is powered by Taquito.js to connect with the Tezos blockchain. We also added social trading, yield farming, and an educational hub to help users improve their financial literacy while engaging with the platform.
Challenges we ran into: One of our biggest challenges was implementing the evolving logic for dynamic NFTs based on portfolio performance. We also had to navigate the complexities of fractional ownership, ensuring regulatory compliance and security. Onboarding new users while keeping the platform intuitive and secure was another hurdle we overcame.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We’re proud of successfully integrating dynamic NFTs that reflect real-time portfolio changes and building a marketplace for fractional asset ownership. Our educational hub and social trading features make investment strategies accessible to everyone, regardless of their background.
What we learned: We learned how crucial it is to design for inclusivity. By simplifying the user experience without sacrificing functionality, we can open the doors of DeFi to a wider audience. We also learned a lot about the importance of smart contract security, especially when dealing with financial assets.
What's next for Tezchain: Next, we’ll be working on launching a mobile app for Tezchain, expanding the types of assets available for fractional ownership, and enhancing the gamification features.
