Inspiration
I got the inspiration to make this project from global hack week Al/ML by MLH
What it does
It is a text recognition model that extracts textual information from images using the Tesseract module.
How we built it
It is built by using google collab I attended an OpenCV session and learned to combine 2 images, Also by using the tesseract module extracts textual information from images
Challenges we ran into
I used 3 images to get the extracted text from them, I used 2 images from the gallery because of light or may the shadow of the photo tesseract was not able to capture the exact text so, I took a simple text image from google, and submit it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I was finally able to exact text from the image
What we learned
I learned about google collab, python libraries Like NumPy, matplotlib, and OCR also about how can we extract text from the image
