Inspiration

I like to see how things work, and I like to create, so I had the idea to create a custom text editor.

What it does

This text editor directly incorporates encryption functionality by creating an encrypted version of your message in real time.

How we built it

Researching how to's. asking AI for help...

Challenges we ran into

Not understanding how to better structure a larger program. Trying to expand the menu bars and other features.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud That I was able to create a random color text feature and a dark mode feature

What we learned

There was surprising little code needed to implement the encryption features. I felt I learned a good amount. The way to structure a menu bar with drop down options.

What's next for Text editor

I would like to be able to have the choice to save the encrypted text, currently it only choice is to save the plain text. I would like to clean up some of the menu bar features so they don't seem as clunky. I am preparing to create this same or similar Text Editor project in Java.
