Inspiration
I was inspired by the Unity Workshop.
What it does
You can explore a world and attempt to find 5 rare textures. For an extra fun challenge, you can attempt to take a ball in the map with you to all of the locations.
How I built it
I used only Unity.
Challenges I ran into
Time was a major issue. I was only able to start after 7:40 because that was when the Unity Workshop ended, and I had things to do Sunday morning as well which took up more time. I also was working solo which made it harder since I had to do more work in my already limited time. I also took a long time to figure it out because it was my first time using Unity.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am proud that I was able to come up with something. It was rather difficult because it was my first time using Unity, and I felt accomplished when I was actually able to make a somewhat fun game.
What I learned
I learned how to use Unity.
What's next for Texplore: A Texture Exploration Game
Right now, nothing happens if you complete the task or fall through a hole. I would like to incorporate C# so that I can make it an actual game with points or a timer, rather than just a explorable map. I wasn't able to include it this time because of my lack of time and knowledge in C#, but I hope to include it soon.
