We did not know how to use Github yet. So just as a verification. This is our code and this is our website.

Inspiration

Recycling is an important action that we must do to reduce the plastic pollution. Show casing how many recycle centers are there and to give opportunity to save the planet.

What it does

Showcases the user the recycling centers in Texas.

How we built it

We used the Google Maps API, CSS , JavaScript, and HTML. We also had to pin point most of the recycling centers with coordinates and manually added them one by one in JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge was the Google Maps API. We just had plenty of struggle with just making the Google Map to appear but once that worked we were to go with adding the markers which went smoothly

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to complete the project and I believe ,speaking for the team, getting the Google Maps API to work was probably our biggest accomplishment in this project and being able to finish this hackathon at the end

What we learned

We learned about team work and communication. We also learned to make sure to allow ourselves to take breaks/time-off , in order, to stay away from being burnt-out and
