Inspiration

Involved in clubs, making schedules and organizing team events is challenging and time consuming

Allows users to join and administrate teams with event boards and notifications

We built it in a MEAN stack. I worked on backend apis in nodejs and expressjs, while my teammates worked on UI and frontend controllers.

Multi page site seemed a bit ambitious for a short time span. Ran into issues with a lot of routes and designing and developing different pages.

Managed to get most of the functionality working while maintaining clean code, a good looking UI and secure backend

Take better consideration of time constraints. We put too much time into being nitpicky and into planning leaving us scrambling to complete.

Continue working to implement features which we could not reach, such as email notifications and user chat

Did all the backend work using nodejs. Set up mongodb. Used expressjs to set up api routes. Used mongoose to interact with the database.
Backend contained the main logic for User profiles and Team profiles and their interactions.

I mainly did dev ops at the beginning to make sure we all had the same tools. I then began to show my teammates the glory of angular2, Google App Engine, and gulp. Mostly worked on the frontend for the project.
