Challenges we ran into

Communication was an issue we faced along the way, each eager to tackle the problems ourselves, there were instances more than one person worked on features with the same functionality.
Narrowing down what variables we would use in our scoring algorithm to determine best route.
Flight prices: Deciding which tools to use, finding historical data for flight prices, or current free APIs, or scrapers on current prices, and how to incorporate price fluctuations.

What's next for Meet in the Middle

allowing for different modes:
a "pub crawl mode", giving all employees an equal amount of stops along the way, with the final meeting at a pub.
an "evil mode"- that maximizes c02 usage and flight duration
Incorporating cost, and optimizing for it.
Animating the visualized flight paths from the start locations to the meeting point.
