StudyMate – Your Smart Study Companion We built StudyMate, a personalized learning assistant app that helps students plan, track, and improve their study habits using smart scheduling, spaced repetition, and gamification.
Inspiration We noticed that many students struggle with time management and maintaining consistent study routines. Our goal was to create a tool that turns studying into a more structured, enjoyable, and effective experience.
What it does Lets students create flexible study plans based on subjects, deadlines, and personal availability.
Offers a flashcard-based review system using spaced repetition.
Tracks progress daily/weekly with visual reports.
Integrates gamified rewards like points and badges.
(Optional) Includes an AI assistant that generates quizzes and explains difficult topics.
How we built it We used Vue.js for the frontend and .NET for the backend. The app connects to a database storing user plans and progress data. We used open-source libraries for chart visualization and integrated Firebase Authentication for secure login.
