How is it innovating ?
On behalf of "Bhagyasree Kishore Menon" , Student, India.. We know that there are a lot of Educational platforms helping kids to enhance their studies, like BYJU’s app. But all of them are paid applications. So those applications are not accessible or affordable to poor students. This new app is a free platform, where any kids can utilize its benefits without paying any money. Mainly, this is a student initiative. They are the future of the world. This will help them to create a better world, and thus they can contribute for the fulfillment of the SGD goals.
Project
We as students can do something to literate these people. So, my idea is to build a nonprofit platform where students can spend some amount of time like half an hour to 1 hour per day or 2-3 hours per weekends. If some students are interested to volunteer for this program, we can develop a platform or an application, in which the volunteers can register their names and skillsets. By associating with some government organizations and using this app we can connect to these illiterate people. The students who are volunteered can teach them, to read, to learn some subjects, write their own languages. Help to meet their basic understanding in, reading the sign boards, identifying the offices, and even some basics in banking etc. Thus, providing and helping them to get the knowledge on how the world, and the environment surrounding them works. In our area, most students are blessed with facilities like good schools and even extra tuition classes. There are a lot of children, who need more support to understand the concepts of Mathematics, Science and Languages. They may not be able to afford the tuition fees. As students, we can help them through this new innovative platform.
Goals
