Inspiration
Some of us have experience in healthcare settings and have seen the high patient footfall but small staff ratio. Thus, the increasing demand on healthcare is evident. This inspired us to tackle problem A3 which will help reduce pressure on hospitals and distribute care services around neighbourhoods with potentially increasing need.
What it does
Analyses datasets to predict population growth, current community healthcare facilities capacity and accessibility, socioeconomic status indicators to identify planned areas requiring the most community care infrastructure attention.
What's next
Using data sources provided and identified to create predictive risk scores on databricks that supports decision makers in deciding how to best allocate resources to meet this increasing need.
