Inspiration

Well most of us fall down into the deep slumber of procrastination and hibernation and in turn, forget to complete our assignments. ProCrast Assistant helps you complete your assignments at the last minute and saves you from losing your marks.

What it does

We have 2 modules in this project.
1. Assignment Helper - Helps you create your theory assignments. Takes an image/pdf/doc of your Assignment Questions. Searches for its answers and finally converts all the answers into a pdf so that you can submit it. Alt text
2. Code Generator - Helps you create your programming assignments. You enter the coding question you are looking for, and the generator will generate the code for the same.

How we built it

The landing page is built using HTML, CSS, and JS. We have hosted the website so that it is accessible to everyone. We built the backend using Open AI GPT 3 and Jurassic 1 on Streamlit. So whenever we enter a query it is sent to the text model for generation for the answers.

Challenges we ran into 🎢

We wanted to build something interesting and new. We also wanted it to be helpful and thus the ideation was a challenge for us. Implementing OCR and searching for answers and converting it into pdf was a tedious task as well.

Accomplishments that we're proud of 🏅🏆

The implementation of the entire project helped us realize the importance of collaboration and the dynamics of working in a team In every Hackathon, proper time management plays a crucial role that can become a determining factor for the overall progress; we understood the instrumentality of following the code of conduct and treating fellow developers with respect while learning and improving through their feedback. We are proud of completing the project in time.
