My test big data bowl submission

I am writing this while waiting for code to run. The goal is to figure out if Devpost is a good venue for the big data bowl.

I have to include a picture.

An equation: $$Y = \beta_0 +\beta_1 X + \epsilon$$

There does not appear to be support for latex in Devpost. Supposedly it can do superscripts, e.g. X^2^, and subscripts, e.g. X~i~.

Update, they have now added support for latex, I believe I can do \(X^2\) and \(X_i\) now.

Can they do more complicated latex expressions? The regression equation is

$$\mathbb{E}[Y|X]$$

I also can't figure out how to embed images within the text. I can upload images, but they seem to appear as a header at the top of the page, rather than inline.

It seems to prefer that you link to external things, like you might have an HTML Rmd page that you could link to, but that would require participants to be able to host websites, which seems like a bit of a hurdle to me.
