Credit for all

An unbanked customer is a person who does not have a savings or checking account with a bank or credit union. The reasons of this can vary : some them don't have enough money - having a bank account brings fees; some others are living in isolated places, far from city. As a result, those people don't have the funds to build project that could improve their standard of living, for themselves and the people around them.

Our idea is to build a platform that connects people who are willing to help with unbanked people with great project ideas, using the help of local associations. This platform gathers all kinds of projects from all other the world, that have been checked for consistency and feasibility.

On one hand we have someone with a great project idea: build a school, recycling computers to send to underprivileged areas, etc... but with no fundings: no bank accounts, no ways to get a loan. On the other hand, we have someone with some extra money to lend : he connects on the platform, browse the projects and picks one. He is free to give a part or the entirety of the money needed for the project. Once the funds are sent, it arrives directly on the association bank account, which gives it in cash, by hand, to the project owner.

The borrower has a certain amount of time to reimburse the money, the interests due are only used to keep the platform alive.
