Demon bear of the Yokai

Onikuma the Demon Bear: A bear that has lived for a very long time and transformed into a yokai is called an onikuma, the demon bear.

Inspiration

My 4-year-old son loves to build with legos. As an extension of this, together we started trying to replicate his lego builds in voxel art. Using the program MagicaVoxel, we have been slowly building out his "monster" designs. Together we made a Yokai Demon Bear in honor of the Yokaiswap team.

Challenges we ran into

New software can be a big challenge. Starting with a sizeable background in photoshop, after effects, and lightroom, navigation was pretty straightforward. After following several dozen youtube tutorials, getting serval "concepts" to completion was rather rewarding.
