Inspiration

The inspiration for this project is that I wanted to make light weight, faster Discord in TUI, I also wanted myself to use all of Discord paid features for free. Also, I get to keep conversation, shared files to myself ( avoid privacy issue from Discord)

What it does

It is a communication platform in format of Discord where we can share/save files on hosting server, chat with friends, voice chat (Not done)

How we built it

CPP, sqlite, bunch of TCP, UDP, base64 encoding, decoding stuff

Challenges we ran into

Time and sleep

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Made a functioning chat that could connect terminals with terminals on a server.

What we learned

Working alone is not worth it and I don't have the time anymore

What's next for Termicomm

Finish implementing UDP connection for voice chat on WSL, audio/video/csv file read and download.
