Termi-Terminal Pet

Inspiration

• The tranquil stress buster of having a pet wherever you go -Chatbots helping with loneliness and inspiring healthy living -One of the themes of the hackathon is healthy living and a good healthy mental health is a way to have a healthy life

What it does

-Provides a GUI representation of a cat to interact with -Provides a terminal that also lets you "feed" or give "items" to your furball

How we built it

-We used PyCharm as our IDE

• GitHub & Git for version control and to merge our work -Python, pyglet (like tkinter), and tkinter

Challenges we ran into

-Getting the GUI to function in tandem with a console based menu -Working concurrently with the other members and solving merge conflicts

Accomplishments that we're proud of

-Getting a fully-fledged GUI -A terminal that is a great model of a command prompt
