NFT is changing the whole art business. So what if an art performer can always get the necessary funds for his project while investors get a proportional yield from the revenues?

Inspiration

As a pianist and a computer engineer, I was always passioned on creating innovative projects in both music and IT. Although, it was always a challenge to get funds for my projects specially in classical music performance. When the decentralised world of blockchain and NFTs became reality, i saw immediately the break-trough it would be for artists around the world.

What it does

The goal is to build a decentralised platform where artists can easily get funds for creating their performance projects and records. For this, private investors will invest in the platform NFTs to receive a proportional monthly yield, paid by the profitable performance projects, where state endowment funds and sponsors pays off the free and small projects that are not profitable. Funds for every artist's dreams!

PerforMint will connect artist's performances and recording projects with the funds they need in the most organic way by three main funds:

  • Private funds: Funds collected by a NFT mint program.
  • Sponsors funds: used for ticket-free events and performances projects.
  • State endowment funds: used for cultural oriented projects.

How we built it

Technical speaking, PerforMint is builted on top of the Metaplex decentralized protocol and in its alpha version it is possible to connect to a Solana compatible wallet, create an NFT as a performance project, and mint the first NFT created for the fund yield collection smart contract that will be developed in the future. In terms of technology we will build this platform with some of the best and new technologies out there:

  • We are proud to be able to come up with a such original idea
  • Develop a tool that is already a good starting point with some main features as, wallet connection, NFT creation, minting and a good looking UI/UX.
