Inspiration
Population movement within & between countries/cities/villages can sometimes spread epidemics. There may already be border checkpoints certain locations or new ones can be created to check migrants for fever &/or ebola risk and when necessary test/treat/isolate/contact-trace.
How it works
Combine 1) simple epidemiological models and/or spatial individual-based / object-oriented / microsimulations of population movement / movement restrictions / spatial modeling of check-points for test/treat/isolate/contact-trace with 2) predictive/statistical models/methods of analyzing spatial data & movement. Question: Does this fit in well with Challenge or should I expand/change the idea? Teammates? Feedback?
