Inspiration
As busy high schoolers, my partner and I decided to create a product that would help others effectively manage their time.
What it does
It is a product that asks the user for input on when he/she is busy and what tasks he/she has to complete. The program then finds the best way to integrate the tasks into the person's day.
How we built it
We utilized html, css, javascript, python, flask, and sql to create an online interface of our software.
Challenges we ran into
The creation of the algorithm to find the best position in which to schedule a task was a challenging experience. Fortunately, with our math skills, we were able to find the algorithm.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our sorting algorithm and our streamlined user interface, to deliver our product to the potential masses.
What we learned
We learned numerous skills, such as integrating websites with databases, and programming in multiple languages.
What's next for TEMPUS
Future upgrades would include an Andriod/iOS app to alert the user when it is time for the task to be completed, and to have an interactive calendar view.
