The inspiration behind NFT Pulse arose from our passion for the thriving NFT market and our desire to empower users with accurate and real-time data. Witnessing the challenges faced by investors, collectors, and enthusiasts in tracking NFT prices, identifying trending assets, and making confident decisions, we envisioned a solution that could transform the way people interact with NFTs.

What it does

NFT Pulse is a revolutionary platform that harnesses the combined power of Transpose and TiDB to deliver seamless NFT analytics. Currently supporting the Ethereum blockchain, NFT Pulse provides users with a user-friendly interface to access real-time and historical indexed blockchain data. The platform enables users to effortlessly track and analyze NFT sales, floor prices, collections, and transactions.

Our platform's key features include high scalability and elasticity, ensuring it can handle the most demanding workloads and adapt to changing market needs.

How we built it

Developing NFT Pulse required a collaborative effort, integrating Transpose and TiDB's cutting-edge technologies. We built the backend using Python and FastAPI, providing a robust foundation for data processing and interactions. Transpose's SQL API played a vital role in accessing comprehensive indexed blockchain data, ensuring efficient and real-time data retrieval.

The seamless integration of TiDB provided high MySQL compatibility, and its distributed architecture offered elastic scalability to accommodate the platform's growth requirements. Leveraging custom endpoints, we tailored user experiences and simplified team collaborations. Smart SQL optimization techniques ensured cost-effective query execution and superior performance.

Challenges we ran into

While building NFT Pulse, we faced various challenges, such as efficiently synchronizing data from the Ethereum blockchain and maintaining data accuracy and reliability. The integration and optimization of Transpose and TiDB required meticulous technical expertise and coordination. Additionally, providing a smooth user experience while managing large data volumes presented its own set of challenges.

Despite the challenges, our team successfully delivered NFT Pulse, exceeding our initial vision. Although currently supporting the Ethereum blockchain, NFT Pulse's high scalability and elasticity have garnered praise from users and industry experts alike.

What's next for NFT Pulse

Looking ahead, we are committed to expanding NFT Pulse's capabilities and offerings. Our future plans include supporting cross-chain compatibility to extend historical floor price data to other blockchain networks. We aim to introduce more prebuilt use cases, such as All-Time NFT trade PnL for a wallet and NFT sales enriched with metadata.

Additionally, we will continue refining the user experience and introducing intuitive features to cater to the growing community of NFT enthusiasts. Our focus on innovation, scalability, and user satisfaction will drive NFT Pulse to be the leading platform for smart NFT decisions and analytics in the ever-evolving NFT market.
