Inspiration
Like how a cliffhanger leaves you on the edge of your seat, surprised and confused, Cl!ffhanger messages will leave your friends, acquaintances, and any other oblivious souls bewildered by the new, mysterious message at the top of their inbox.
What it does
Sends messages that cryptically cut off at any point. Also scrambles words in sentences and lets the user send messages anonymously.
How we built it
We coded in HTML, CSS, and Javascript on replit.com. We then registered the domain name and got an actual URL!
Challenges we ran into
We struggled with getting the emails to go through in the first place, and then we had to figure out why the body always read "undefined." Then we had to tweak some of the functions we were using to scramble the words so that letters within the words themselves were scrambled and not all the letters throughout the entire body of text.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting the first email to actually send with the form on our website was super exciting!
