Inspiration

The inspiration for this world came from out of the blue. I just wanted to make something challenging, yet fun, for the player to spend some free time trying to complete the course and beat their own time or compete with others.

What it does

Temple Runner is a running game where players control a character who must navigate through treacherous paths, collecting coins and collectibles.

How we built it

This world was meticulously crafted, piece by piece, with the addition of intricate traps and challenging obstacle courses, all seamlessly integrated with TypeScript and CodeBlocks.

Challenges we ran into

One of the challenges we faced with this build was creating a sense of progression that's worth striving for, without feeling like your forced to complete or restart from the beginning if we fail. We wanted to make it engaging and rewarding, rather than frustrating and discouraging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Accomplishments that we are proud of are incorporating the use of what we have learned to create an engaging and satisfying sense of accomplishment of making it to the next level.

What we learned

What we learned from this project was the importance of perseverance and creative problem-solving. Despite the challenges we faced, we were able to overcome them and produce a high-quality outcome. We're proud of what we've accomplished and look forward to applying these skills to future projects.
