Inspiration
My own dating app journeys turned out to be problematic, inefficient, and energy-draining
What it does
Empower growth-minded women to discover truly compatible partners through evidence-driven insights — saving time, protecting emotional energy, and sparking lasting chemistry.
How we built it
Leverage personal dating preferences, chat message contexts, self-reflection inputs, etc. to allow agents to provide 'compatibility scores' and 'in-flow coaching' during online dating.
Challenges we ran into
- Clarify / validate the right scenarios
- Data privacy and compliance
- Differentiator with the competitors ## Accomplishments that we're proud of A functioning prototype that is posted to TestFlight for internal testing (invites by emails), which can collect initial feedback on the overall core function designs/major product concepts. Problems that the app tackles:
- Time sink & burnout: Women lose hours in endless swiping and report the highest ‘dating app fatigue’, leaving them emotionally drained before real connections can even form.
- It’s difficult to build real momentum when expectations clash - single men are more likely than women to be casually “window-shopping,” leaving purpose-driven users stuck in mismatched interactions.
What we learned
Testing and iteration is KEY.
What's next for Temperature Flow Dating
- Prototype iteration based on early testers' feedback; while assemble resources to enhance codebase and integrate with backend frameworks.
- Recruit Affiliating Community to get traction (pilot). Target 120 early users (beta) with NPS ~ 78.
- [Aug-Oct 2025] Experiment branding/marketing strategy - content engine (TikTok, LinkedIn) Bundles with female-led communities, podcasts, career platforms.
- [Dec 2025] Convert & retain pilot users; Deepen product moat: UX, backend services performance; Pitch for Pre-Seed round
