Inspiration

I was inspired by the impact of climate change and the various technology startups currently addressing the problem.

What it does

The goal of the project is to have a permanent measuring sensor for humidity near coral reefs and then implement machine learning tools to monitor the health of the reef.

How we built it

I used Arduino Uno board as well as the Arduino coding platform to create the monitor.

Challenges we ran into

A challenge that I ran into was figuring out how to wire the entire assembly, but trial and error as well as schematics online helped me overcome the obstacle.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were successfully able to implement the DHT11 sensor and LED over bluetooth.

What's next for Temperature and Humidity Monitor

Trying to send this data into a database, such as google firebase.
