Hello guys!
First of all, thank you for providing such a wonderful hackathon. Our team would like to thank you for the opportunity to work with the amazing CoinEx solution!
We are truly believe that the Web3 industry deserves much more popularity than it currently has and thank to events like this industry will gain more members.
As CoinEx company our team also thought about involving more people to the Web3 industry and how to teach them that Web3 is our future. We do really think we need to educate users more about Web3 and how it works under the hood.
But we have to admit that users want to play, not learn, there is even a new term for that - "edutainment". Users say that education is boring and this is our first insight - we should incentivised them to learn.
And our second insight is that if a user has no friends in Web3, then he is unlikely to be a member of Web3. It is our common goal for those who are really interested in the development of Web3 to make a system in which users can collaborate with each other, educate each other and support each other. We actually should build a real Peer2Peer network.
But where our community could find resources for that initiative? And we found out that there are many big companies and small startups whose only problem is that there are very few people who know about Web3. These companies are even ready to pay for new users.
And we've thought why we couldn't mix these aspects and build a platform where users will play during learning process, and we can incentivize them for for their achievements.
At first we thought it was impossible. After all, no one has built such a platform yet. But after a couple of days of discussions, we decided that we had no choice, we MUST try, although it is a bit scary to start such a huge task. So our task was about building gamified platform with support Peer2Peer networking.
About our tokenomics: During the hackathon, we implemented IQ token (ERC20 based). With that token users will be paid for learning, for passing exams and so on. But what about P2P, could we incentivize them to teach each other, to check each other? So we also implement paying when user provide a review of each other. And in our backlog there are some tasks to support paying for uploading courses on our platform.
Was it easy? Definetely not! During that hackaton we've found one teamate and lost another one. We even wanted to stop because of huge ammount of work. But after negotiathions inside the team we decided to make final push and finished alpha version of the platform.
For us it is a completely new solution and during the hackathon we made:
- Frontend with react
- Bachend with nodeJs and Postgres
- Native CoinEx IQ token with solidity
So if you are interested in that solution we are ready to discuss it with you guys in any details (DM me).
Thank for CoinEx and you guys for that chance to say about our philosophy and passion. We are proud to work with you!

P.S. I am thinking if my team knew how hard it would be would we even start that project? And the answer is “don’t know” but during that hackathon we are definitely overcoming ourselves and became a better developers.
