Inspiration

Being college students, we have gone through many interview processes. We always wished recruiters/managers could read our actual code instead of just doing short technical interviews, but the time and resources just aren't there. So we created checkout, an AI tool that reads every file on a candidate's GitHub and provides a real evidence-based evaluation of skills.

Checkout - "Accelerated Technical-recruiting, for non-technical recruiters"

Checkout redefines the candidate funnel process through an evidence-based approach. Powered by Google's Vertex AI and the Git API, Checkout evaluates candidates' skills based on their resume and real code hosted on GitHub. Recruiters read a brief list of skills with scores and a candidate summary. Thereby streamlining the recruitment process with accuracy and efficiency.

Use Case

Recruiters often have strict deadlines, and must sift through thousands of resumes to fill only a handful of positions. Checkout bridges the gap left by ATS systems, empowering recruiters to autonomously scan through resumes, identifying the most suitable candidates based on skill proficiency backed by code in real projects.
