Inspiration

When we sat down to think about what to make for this hackathon, we had to really dig deep and truly reflect on what was important when it comes to our health. Then, we realized, food. Food is the biggest thing that affects your health. Especially depending on the calories. When thinking about food, you typically don't think about how many calories there are. So, we decided to make this game to help you better understand what is going into your body.

What it does

Our app is a game based on the calorie count of various foods. Two foods are displayed and the user has to determine whether one food's calorie count is higher or lower than the others.

How we built it

By using Unity we built the interface for the app and the interactive features. With VSCode, we wrote the necessary code to make the app run.

Challenges we ran into

At the beginning, we weren't entirely sure on how to bring this idea to fruition. However, one of our team members, Bestin, remember he knew how to use Unity to create this masterpiece.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of what we accomplished in one day. We managed to make a lot of progress on this game and even managed to make a playable version.

What we learned

We learned that developing an app can be challenging and requires a lot of focus and teamwork in order to come together smoothly.

What's next for Higher or Lower: Calorie Edition

We may try to add more features in the future and make this game better.
