TELEMEDICINE APPLICATION

I have framed my problem to create a mobile application for both doctors & patients where the patient can actually book an appointment, confirm date & make a consultation online on the booked date.

The medical world is constantly changing. Technology now plays a big role in the medical domain. As doctors regularly look for better ways to treat people, technology has brought numerous great advances to the medical field. But do you realize that we still go to hospitals to seek treatment regardless of the severity of disease or illness? We couldn’t get over that convention till now. So imagine what if you get the ability to get consulted online that means through electronic mode of communication, Fantastic right. So having this as our source idea we framed our problem under this domain to create a mobile application for both doctors and patients where the patient can actually book an appointment, confirm your date and make a consultation online on the booked date, it is as simple as that. The movement of telemedicine from desktop platforms to wireless and mobile configurations may have a significant impact on future health care. This paper reviews some of the latest technologies in wireless communication and their application in health care. The new technologies can make remote medical monitoring, consulting, and health care more flexible and convenient. But, there are challenges for successful wireless telemedicine, which are addressed here.
